Marc Davis has over 30 years of successful small business experience. His areas of concentration include business consulting and problem solving, with experience in the areas of manufacturing, trucking, banking, timber, non-profit, healthcare and construction with emphasis on auditing, accounting, tax and management consulting. He is a member of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants He is a past member of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants Peer Review Committee and a past member of the Tax Section of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
A native of south Georgia, Marc earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Troy State University in Troy, Alabama. After graduation, he married and spent 16 years in public accounting in Albany, Georgia and Troy, Alabama. In Albany, Marc worked for the public accounting firm Draffin and Tucker. In Troy, Marc was an equity member of a public accounting firm for the last 6 years before leaving to go to work as a Chief Financial Officer of a conglomerate of companies including a $20 million bridge contractor, a crane rental company and an aircraft charter business in Alabama. In June 2003, Marc returned to public accounting in Valdosta, Georgia with Dame, Davis & Company. Then in July 2008, Marc moved to Moultrie, GA to form the firm Tucker, Plymel and Davis, P.C.
Marc has previously served as treasurer of the Troy, AL Exchange Club, board member of Troy’s crisis pregnancy center, Deacon of First Baptist Church of Troy, Director of Royal Ambassadors, Sunday school teacher, Awana Young Men teacher and Elder of One Accord Family Church in Dothan, AL. Presently Marc serves as one of the Elders of a Christ Berean Church in Moultrie, Georgia. He is married to the former Laura Barksdale of Sylvester, GA and they have 4 children. Marc and Laura have and continue to home school their children. Marc enjoys spending time with his family and friends, camping, horse back riding, gardening and golfing.

Beverly H. Plymel has more than 30 years of successful business experience as an entrepreneur and an accountant. She has experience in the areas of farming, manufacturing, trucking, construction, retail, non-profit, and governmental with emphasis on auditing, accounting, tax, and management consulting. She is a member of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
A native of Mitchell County, Beverly married and moved to Colquitt County in 1968. Before Beverly returned to college and earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Valdosta State College in 1986, she owned and successfully operated her own business for 15 years. After graduation, she worked as the assistant manager of a local petroleum distributor for one year. Beverly then joined the public accounting firm of Tucker & Stone, CPAs and worked as a staff accountant for the next 10 years. In July 1997, she became a shareholder in the accounting firm of Tucker, Stone and Plymel, P.C. In May 2006, Tucker, Stone and Plymel, P.C.‘s name changed to Tucker and Plymel, P, C. As of July 2008, Beverly began working with Marc Davis under the firm name of Tucker, Plymel and Davis, P.C.
Beverly has previously volunteered in the school system as a classroom assistant, served as a Sunday School teacher, and substituted as church pianist when needed. She currently serves as treasurer for the Cross Roads Gospel Rescue Mission and has been a member of the Board of Directors for more than 10 years. She is also a member of the Optimist Club of Moultrie, GA., Inc. and is currently serving as the organization’s secretary/treasurer. Beverly was married to the late James Darrell Plymel of Moultrie, GA and they have 2 children and 3 grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, gardening, fishing, and operating her farm.
